Abstract
This research analyzes the role of electronic payment mechanisms in fostering financial inclusion in Algeria through an in-depth analytical approach. Findings indicate a gradual increase in adoption, driven by improved digital infrastructure and rising bank account/ATM numbers. However, structural challenges like weak infrastructure, limited financial literacy, and an outdated legislative framework impede wider expansion. The paper emphasizes developing inclusive financial services for low-income and informal sector workers. It also stresses enhanced collaboration among stakeholders to support digital financial transformation and broaden formal banking access.
