Components of Algerian Sustainable Agricultural Development for Enhancing Food Security in Light of Climate Change

Abstract
The study aimed to identify the most important capabilities that Algeria has to establish sustainable agriculture to achieve food security, especially with the rapid climate changes. The results showed that rainfall and temperature rates contribute to Algerian agricultural production by 0.33% and 2.5% in the short term only; this relationship is not achieved in the long term. Consequently, Algeria experienced a period of severe climate change due to the decline in rainfall. The best way to address these challenges to agricultural activity in Algeria is through sustainable agricultural development, which offers many effective solutions that can adapt to climate change and are not affected by the lack of rainfall. These solutions include aquaculture, renewable energies, attracting modern agricultural technical innovations, nanoclay liquid technology cultivation, and increasing the efficiency of Algerian water resources in the Sahara regions.
