الفقر والنمو الاقتصادي والتدهور البيئي دليل تجريبي من الدول العربية النفطية

Abstract

هدف هذا البحث لقياس العلاقة بين الفقر والنمو الاقتصادي والتدهور البيئي في عينة من الدول العربية النفطية خلال الفترة 2002-2019، وباستخدام طريقة المربعات الصغرى المعممة GLS توصل البحث لعدة نتائج يمكن تلخيصها في وجود علاقة موجبة متبادلة بين متغيري النمو الاقتصادي والتدهور البيئي، وعلاقة موجبة متبادلة بين متغيري الفقر والنمو الاقتصادي، وعدم وجود علاقة بين متغيري الفقر والتدهور البيئي. The main aim of this study was to investigate the nature of relationship among poverty, economic growth and environmental degradation in a sample of the Arab oil countries during the period 2002-2019. In order to achieve this objective, the study adopted panel generalized least squares GLS method. The basic findings of the study indicated a positive bidirectional relationship between economic growth and environmental degradation. A positive bidirectional relationship between economic growth and poverty. However, the bidirectional relationship between poverty and environmental degradation was not significant.
